# Raids & Special Encounters

***

### Raids

Raids are cooperative battles where trainers work together to defeat powerful Pokémon that are significantly stronger than normal encounters.

#### How Raids Work

* A raid encounter becomes active within the world against either a Legendary or a Mega Pokemon.
* Multiple trainers may join the encounter with /raid join 1, then you either head to /spawn or /warp raid
* Players battle the raid Pokémon together, the more damage, the higher you'll be in the roster which means Better Rewards!
* The Pokémon must be defeated within the time given.

Raid Pokémon typically have increased health and stronger attacks, making them difficult to defeat alone.

#### Raid Rewards

Players who participate in defeating a raid Pokémon may receive:

* Pokédollars
* IV Candies
* Rings

The difficulty of the raid often determines the quality of rewards.

### Boss Pokémon

Boss Pokémon are rare, powerful encounters that occasionally appear while exploring the world of Cobblemon Unbound.

#### Boss Mechanics

* Boss Pokémon are significantly larger than normal Pokémon.
* They cannot be captured.
* Boss Pokémon may exceed the normal level cap of 100.
* These encounters are designed as combat challenges.

Because of their strength, defeating a Boss Pokémon often requires well-prepared teams.

#### Boss Rewards

Upon defeat, Boss Pokémon drop valuable rewards such as:

* Rings
* Pokédollars
* Special items

Boss encounters provide an additional layer of challenge for trainers exploring the world.

### Ultra Space

Ultra Space is a **planned** feature that will introduce unique encounters and alternate environments within Cobblemon Unbound. It is currently Disable as it is still in works, we have a lot planned!

#### Planned Mechanics

* Special Pokémon encounters
* Unique spawn tables
* High-risk exploration areas
* Rare rewards

This system is currently under development and will be expanded in future updates
