# Setting Up Your Modpack

This will walk you through for CurseForge and Modrinth!

## Modrinth Installation

### Step 1: Install Modrinth App

1. Go to the official [**Modrinth Launcher** page](https://modrinth.com/app)
2. Click the **Download** button for your operating system (**Windows**, **macOS**, or **Linux**).
3. Run the downloaded installer and follow the steps to install the Modrinth App.

### Step 2: Set Up Minecraft in Modrinth

* Open the Modrinth App.
* Click the **Minecraft** tab if it's not selected automatically.
* The app will prompt you to configure your **Minecraft instance**. Follow the setup instructions to log into your Minecraft Account.

### Step 3: Find and Install the Cobblemon Unbound Modpack

* Click the search bar and look for "Cobblemon Unbound". You can also look in the Discovery section

* Click on "Install"
* Once the modpack has been Installed you will find it under Instances

### Step 4: Launch the Game

* You have everything you need now to start your adventure with us!

We recommend setting 4gb of RAM to run the game

You can change this in the **Modrinth App Settings > Java > Memory**.

## CurseForge Installation

### Step 1: Install CurseForge App

* Go to the [**CurseForge**](https://www.curseforge.com/download/app) **webpage**
* Download the CurseForge App for **Windows** or **macOS,** depending on your system.

### Step 2: Set Up Minecraft in CurseForge

* If this is your first time, CurseForge will prompt you to set up a **Minecraft modding folder**. Follow the prompts.

* Select Minecraft

### Step 3: Download our Minecraft

In the Minecraft section of CurseForge, click **“Browse Modpacks.”**

1. In the search bar, search "**Cobblemon Unbound**"
2. Click on **CobblemonUnbound.**
3. Click on "Install"
4. Wait for installation to be complete

### Step 4: Launch the Pack!

* Under your "My Modpacks" you will find the **Cobblemon Unbound** pack
* Click "Play" to start!
